The high school football state championship games were held at Auburn University this year. I thought it was very nice of the AU raptor center to include the Eagle's flight at the stadium (a tradition of Auburn University football). So, while there for my nephew's game, I teared up a little when I heard them call for everyone to set their sights to the upper deck to watch as Spirit was released for flight.
Yippee...I had my picture made with one of the trainers and Spirit.
What a majestic creature. War Eagle!
